This group of seniors led our team to 2015 South Jersey Group 4 Championship, 2015 State Semi Finals, 2014 and 2015 South Jersey Group 4 Finals, 2015 Coaches Tournament Finals, 2013, 14, and 16 Caoches Tournament Semi Finals, 2013, 2016 South Jersey Group 4 Semi Finals, 2016 Olympic Conference Championship

This was one of the best classes ever to come through Shawnee High school.  This group of seniors were amazing both on and off the soccer field.  They have accomplished so much for the Shawnee soccer program.  They will be missed both on the field, but also off the field.

Dana Goldstein

4 year varsity player, 3 year varsity starter at the center back position.

Career:  7 goals and 6 assists

Senior year:  4 goals, 2 assists

1st Team All Olympic Conference Junior and Senior Year

1st Team All South Jersey Senior Year

All State Junior and Senior Year

All State top 20 Senior Year

Dana is one of the most dominating center backs I have seen in the girls game.  She is a great defender with speed and toughness, and she has the skills to match.  Her great foot skills allowed us to play great possession out of the back.  She is also amazing in the air winning all head balls that came her way.  Dana is one of the best center backs we have ever had at Shawnee.

Olivia Schuck

4 Year varsity starter at the center midfield position.

Career:  16 goals, 9 assists

Senior Year:  9 goals, 6 assists

1st Team All Olympic Conference Senior year (2nd team as a junior)

2nd Team All South Jersey senior year

All State Senior Year

Olivia was the engine that made our team go.  All of our possession and play went through her.  She was dominant defensively and in possession.  She won every 50/50 ball and head ball possible.  She defended, she scored, she assisted, she did it all for our team.  Olivia was one of the best center midfield players to ever wear a Shawnee uniform.  She is a complete player.

Christina Corbi

4 year varsity player, 2 year varsity starter

Career:  34 goals, 15 assists  (scored 19 goals as a junior)

Senior year:  12 goals (led our team) and 7 assists

1st Team All Olympic Conference Junior and Senior year

1st All SJ Senior Year (2nd Team Junior year)

All State Junior and Senior year

All State top 20 Senior Year

Christina Corbi is one of the best target forwards I have ever coached.  She scored a lot of goals for our team, but she did so much more than that.  She is the best I have seen at playing with her back to goal.  She was a possession player, a playmaker, and of course a great scorer.  She was also a great leader.

Vanessa Alessi

4 Year varsity player, 2 year varsity starter

Career:  13 goals, 5 assists

Senior Year:  3 goals, 1 assist

Second Team All Olympic Conference senior year

Vanessa is an amazing versatile player that can play anywhere on the field.  She is naturally an attacking midfield player but we needed her to play center back for us the last two seasons to make our team complete.  She willingly made the switch to help our team and did an amazing job for us in the back.  She was tough, fast, and very skilled.  One of the best distributors out of the back that I have seen.  Her unselfishness to help her team was very inspiring and appreciated.  She is a great all around player.

Brianna Davis

4 year varsity player

3 year varsity starter

Career:  31 shutouts, .6 goals against average

Senior Year:  13 shutouts, .546 goals against average

1st Team All Olympic Conference Junior and Senior Year

1st Team All SJ Junior and Senior Year

All State Junior and Senior year

Brianna Davis was amazing in goal for us over the last 4 years.  She was a fearless and athletic shot stopper that could get to balls that she had no business getting to.  She was also very good with her feet which allowed us to use her as another field player in possession.  Brianna was a great leader from the goal keep position as she was always talking and organizing our team.  She was a very exciting player to watch.

Julianna Bertolino (TCNJ – D3)

4 Year varsity player, 2 year varsity starter

Career:  11 goals and 5 assists

Senior Year:  7 goals, 2 assists

Second Team All Olympic Conference as a senior

Julianna is one of the most hard working and technical players that I have had the pleasure to coach.  Her work ethic and skill was inspiring to her team mates and coaches.  She played in the back for us on the group 4 championship team as a junior and then moved up to wing forward as a senior.  She was equally as effective at both spots with great skill and attacking play.
