Hello once again, Renegades! Another new week at Shawnee, another set of 5 Things You Need to Know for This Week.

Before we begin, I want to let you all know that this Friday, March 24th, is a half-day.

Here are the 5 most important things for you all to know this week:

1. The last day to register online for AP testing is tomorrow: Tuesday, March 21st. If you have not already signed up, you will have to pay a late registration fee. If you do not sign up by the end of the day tomorrow, you will be unable to take any of the AP tests.
2. The Shawnee Academic Fair (also known as Brain Day) is this Friday, March 24th (the previously mentioned half-day). This is a fun day in which students get to go around to different projects and presentations prepared by students currently taking psychology and/or foreign language classes. There are games, foods from other cultures, and even dancing i the back cafeteria.
3. This Friday is also JDD (what a busy day). All students that are attending JDD are required to be in school for the entire day, or else you won’t be able to attend.
4. There are multiple dine out for education opportunities coming up:
   • The class of 2020 is holding a fundraiser on Tuesday, March 21st (tomorrow) at Chipotle.
   • On Wednesday, March 22nd, you can dine out to raise money for Project Graduation at any of these following places: Medford Bagel Shop; Roselli’s; Braddock’s Fortune Cookie; Iliano’s; Ott’s; The Pop Shop; Rustic Grille; and LB Daniels.
5. Finally, the Shawnee Color Run for Cancer is on April 8th at 9:00 am. Early online registration ends soon; it closes on March 27th, which is next Monday. While it’s still open, you can register for the Color Run online at ShawneeMSCR.eventbrite.com
