The Shawnee Renegades (5-10) suffered a tough loss to the Bishop Eustace Crusaders (12-4) by a score of 51-44. The Renegades started strong with an 8-0 lead, with Nick O’Brien hitting two 3-pointers. By the end of the first quarter, Shawnee was up 17-9; however, the Crusaders tightened the game up by the end of the 3rd quarter, making it 32-28. Ryan Senft (#23) had a great first game back, leading all scorers with 17 points. By the fourth quarter, unfortunately, the Renegades struggled to keep up their scoring pace from behind the arc or in the paint. Once both teams got into foul trouble, the Renegades lost their grip on the lead. The Crusaders made a number of foul shots to close the night out. Tonight’s loss was difficult, but the Renegades will look to add to their win tally on Thursday at 6:00 against Winslow at Shawnee.
