Shawnee Unified Basketball plays tough against rival Seneca

#10 Jannica Natalini goes for the layup scoring 12 points in the game

There was a lot of excitement in the air on Monday afternoon when the Shawnee Unified basketball team took on cross-town rival Seneca at Shawnee High School.  The Renegades came out focused and were often found punching in quick layups against a tough Seneca defense.  There was a huge crowd in attendance representing both teams which helped energized the game.  The top scorers from Shawnee were Jannica Natalini with 12 points, Landon Sims with 6 points, and Robbie Hummel and Kiera Healy with 4 points each.  Wesley Raio was solid in defense.  There will be a multischool game coming up in February during the school day which should be something for everyone to look forward to.
